Who Would Buy This:
The Panasonic TC-P65GT30 TV would be for people who looking to upgrade to the latest in 3D technology. With a large 65 inch screen it would be perfect for a home theater or would work well in the living room.
Things I liked about the Panasonic TC-P65GT30:
Picture:
First of all, the TC-P65GT30 has the best picture of any TV I have ever watched. The colors are so bright and vivid when they need to be and the blacks are so dark that if the screen is all black you almost can’t even tell if the TV is on or not.
Viewing angle:
The actual viewing angle is so wide you can pretty much watch TV from anywhere in the room that isn’t behind the set. Which I guess is to be expected since this is a plasma after all.
Connectivity:
This set comes with every possible connection that you will need to view and listen to anything that you want, with 4 HDMI connections available and it includes a WiFi adapter for your Internet applications which plugs into one of the three USB ports available.
Gaming:
The TC-P65GT30 also has a gaming mode which I was very happy about. The Vierra automatically adjusts to the optimal settings for the game so there isn’t any lag at all no matter how much is going on in the screen. There is also absolutely no motion blur, ever. That can make a huge difference when playing an intense game or watching sports.
Controls:
Another feature that I thought was pretty cool is the fact that there is an app you can download on your iPod or iPhone that you can use to control some of the functions on your TV. The remote control that comes with it lights up the buttons very nicely so you can see them clearly in the dark.

Things I didn’t like:
The sound quality of the built in speakers isn’t the best but if you’re getting a TV of this caliber it would be a good idea to have a soundbar or surround sound system to really make it the best viewing experience possible. Hooking it up to my sound system solved that problem. The only other thing I didn’t like about this TV was that it was too big for my entertainment center so I had to get a different one that would handle this size of a TV.

Overall this TV well exceeded my expectations in picture quality. You can connect just about everything you want to it and connect to the internet.
